Newsletter Term 4 Week 10

Hi there all
The last week is upon us and we are looking forward to celebrating it, especially with our ten Year 6 boys who will graduate. They have a pool party on Wednesday afternoon, their graduation/ leavers' assembly on Thursday and ten pin bowling later that evening. On Friday we have the last school assembly and officially farewell them.

The weather isn't looking the best for the week and the class trip planned today (Monday) by the Birth of the Beginning Party and our Cycle Champs tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) look a little tentative.

Well done to Hugo, Thomas and Sam MC who helped the Blue Milo Cricket team to the Milo Trophy final on Friday. Although they lost the final to Merrin they can be proud of their second place.

Finally, thank you to all of you for a wonderful year in Team 7. The support of parents has been great and your input into the lives of the boys is critical in their academic and social development. We have had a special group of boys, each with their own gifts and areas to work on. Please keep on encouraging them to try new things, think of others and always do their best and try their hardest. To those boys (and families in some cases) leaving, all the best for your future and we hope Fendalton has played a major part in the development of your child/ren in many areas both in and out of the classroom. Year 5s, please be nice to your teachers next year! All three will be excellent teachers. Please take the position of being school leaders seriously as many children look up to the Year 6 leaders.

I wish you all a safe and enjoyable Christmas and Holiday break.

Yours sincerely
Paul
Team 7 Coach
