Halloween Night

BOO!!!Ha ha got you!
Halloween night, black cats stalking the whistling boughs, leaving streaks of shadow covered brown.
Howling canines with fur suddenly wiry and icy
blue eyes.
"Trick Or Treat!" Screams of delight escaped childrens' mouths but chocolate and candy went in.
Bang bang bang! The brass knocker made a sound as everyone eagerly waited for more candy.
One house in particular did not get many visitors...
ALL THE MORE CANDY FOR ME!!!

Earthquake

Battling the present.
My heartbeat pounds,
Like a wave slashing a rock.
The growl of a ravenous lion,
Echoes out of the earthquakes mouth.
Its hand reaches out,
And jolts me from my bed.
As I stagger red eyed to find refuge.

the witches

In fairy tales witches always wear silly black hats and black cloaks, and ride around on broomsticks but this is not a fairy tale this is about real witches.
you may be wondering so what does a real witch look like, listen carefully and I will tell you they are always bald and have blue spit, they have claws like a cat, witches also have large nostrils and are always a women the witches pupil is continuously changing colour, witches have no toes either.

The book the witches is written by Roald Dalh and illustrated by Quentin Blake. If you haven't figured this out already this blog post is about the book the witches

50 word story

I was asleep and dreaming, dreaming about a very unusual land with orange sky and blue sun there was turquoise grass and green water. I was walking round and I saw an animal. It had four ears, one eye, and one leg and it looked like a spider monkey.

Amy's Auckland zoo visit - so far...

The lions bared their teeth and screeched like a flock of seagulls circling their prey. Saliva dripped from their hungry grins, their jaws snapping open and shut. Their beady eyes followed everyone's gaze to the man of the pride. He yowled a peircing scream, then slid away from the rest of his family ...

"Are we there yet?" Lucy asked for what seemed the 100th time. "In fact we ARE now" I reply with a thankful sigh. We pulled into the wonderland of cars and Lucy gasped in excitment. " I can hear the elephants!" She exclaimed.

THE 40 HOUR FAMINE!!

For the famine I was doing the NO! technology one it was really hard too do.I started the 40 hour famine at 4:00 pm I had to play card games, read and have friends round.
But my Dad kept on saying to my brother ''do you want to watch a movie''

AUTUMN

Autumn is frosty blasting leaves everywhere .As frosty as Antarctica
glued to the ever lasting frostland . As frost dies away it becomes
very very icy and mist seeps over like a vampire's cave.

Treasure writing

My amazing treasure is a brown and sparkly duchess it is 100 years old.
It was hand made by my great great grandfather .He kept it and then somehow we got it .It was made of wood and metal .We put it in the spare room .It is a treasure because  it reminds us of him .

summer poem

Colourful golden leaves blowwing lightly , frost bites biting my fingers. I can play in the crunchy leaves. grass shining like crystals and sitting by the fire. Having to were gloves, drinking steaming hot chocolate and my cats trying to get warm

Autumn

In Autumn you can play in the munchy crunchy leaves and wear warm and soft socks. The sun doesn't provide much heat.

AUTUMN

I like the colour of the leaves and the uniforms.
The leaves are usually green,red,orange,blue.
the funniest thing is jumping into a pile of leaves.
The clouds get misty with gray paint.
Having to swim in a lake with out any water in it.

Autumn

In Autumn you can play in the munchy crunchy leaves and wear warm and soft socks .The sun doesn't provide much heat.

thoughts of autumn 26/3/10

The brown leaves and the shining sun .The brown leaves falling from the trees. The bright brown orange trees shining on the ground with orange and yellow light. :]

Autumn

I hear the crackling sound of pumpkin orange
Sunshine yellow
Cherry red.
Sometimes breezy
Sometimes sunny.
Humungous piles of crunchy leave children diving into them as if they were pools.
Crunch, crunch, crunch

AUTUMN

I think of Autumn as hot chocolate time! It is also inspiring, breezy, exciting, unexpected and damp. And its
also warm-feeling and colourful!

AUTUMN

Gloomy colourful empty trees.
Rabbits digging soil burrows.
The air freezes in a smokey feeling.
Acorns misty and deep down in leaves then children jumping
on top all wrapped up.

Autumn

Autumn is as cold as a frog frozen in ice.
Autumn is colourful as a rainbow shining its colours.
Autumn is as windy as a hurricane coming.
Autumn is as leafy as a big bear blowing all the leaves off the trees.
