Seasons

There are four different seasons in the year. There are Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

Spring is a season when flowers grow. It is a season when animals have babies. It has a mild weather. You can wear cooler clothes than in winter.

Summer is the hottest season of all. You can play sports like cricket, t-ball, volleyball and you can also go swimming. You wear shorts and t-shirts. The temperature is above 20 degrees celcius.

Autumn is the time of the year when leaves fall of trees. They also change colour first. The days get short and the nights get a longer. The temperature is normally below 22 degrees celcius.

Winter is the coldest season of all. You can play sports like soccer and hockey. You wear long sleeves and long pants. The temperature is normally below 17 degrees celcius.

Seasons are very interesting because they all have something different and you can do different things.

Tree Cimbing

On the second Group D, which is my group, did tree climbing.

 The first thing we did was to put on a harness and a helmet. Our first activity was lots of fun. We had to build crates on top of each and the highest block tower won.

 We divided into two teams. My team won by 1-0 because we got lots of draws. After the activity we started climbing trees.

Stella was the first person to climb up the smaller tree. The some people climbed a higher tree.

I found tree climbing hard but challenging.

Mountain Biking

On the 3rd of March my group did mountain biking. My group was group D and a person named Ashely led us. I got a very small red and black bike. It was a long biking track in the forest. At a place that was called 'Big Dipper' Logan did a big jump. A place that I called 'Ramp' Logan and Sam did a high jump on the bike.


When we were back at camp we had a rest for the next rotation.

I really loved the mountain biking because I learnt how to use fantastic gears on the bike.

7 Minute Challenge

Are you good at word challenges? Well we did a 7 Minute Challenge last week. We had to make as many words as we could out of the word ''chocolate''. The Champions were Moss And Jooyoung. If you didn't notice, thats us! We also get a free chocolate bar. I wonder what the next 7 minute challenge will be?

The first day of school

On the first day of school I did some basic facts of maths and we did some writing. We went swimming and we did a relay. I was very excited. Mr Norton gave us each a baton.We are going to paint them on Thursday.I had a great and awesome first day at school.
