Hot Pools!

On 2 nd March 2009 everyone in room 10 and 7 went to the hot pool.

Some people went in the car the others ran to the pool.

I went on Mrs Haford's  car.

I also went with Xiling and Xiaoling.

When we got to the pools i got changed.

The lifeguard talked to us about some rules.

We got in the pool.

IT WAS SO WARM!!

I also went to the rock pool.

The rock pool had a cool side and a warm side.

I also saw Miss Jamison.

Bivouacs

It was the last day of camp and finally we got our to make our Bivouacs in the forest.

Sam,Josh,Louis and I were in a group together and it was an outstanding group.

First we had to find a place.

we found a dirt mound and lots of big sticks but we also found a big black mat and it was perfect!.

With five minutes left we got more sticks than ever and we did really well, mainly because of our sheet.

If it was a competition we probably would of won!

Mountain Biking Downhill

On the 3rd of march our first activity was the mountain biking. I was in group D and our leader Ashely. When we got into the biking we had to go relay because the girls were in front of us. Most of the boys including me did the dipper the dipper is a hill it had two ways you could go but you could only go one way. We got lots of to do a we jump and i got lots of air and then jooyoung crashed into my bike. On the way back to camp me and sam did this big jump. And we got lots of air and we go back to camp then we started the next rotation............

Hanmer Camp 2009

On Monday the 2 of march at nine thirty in the morning room7 and 10 set off to Hanmer Camp, I went in Lutz's car with Louis and Sam. Onthe way to camp we saw Frog rock but it looked better on the way back. Wehn we got to Hanmer Camp we went to our bunk rooms. I had a bunk room with Louis,Sam and Ben Jenkins but when we got into our bunk room we realised that their was a BIG BLACK SPIDER in the corner of the window. So we decided to put in on the floor and Louis jumped off the top bunk and landed on it and it went ''splat'' all over the carpet. Our first activity was mountain biking. It was so fun because we all had GT Chucers and they went really fast over jumps. 

Hurry Up Storm's Coming!

On the last day of camp 2009 we did some bivouac building.

My team was Cille, Stella, Amine, Michelle and I (we also got some help from some parents)

We got big dead branches and I stretched a flexible branch from a nearby tree onto our bivouac. Our bivouac was shaped like half a tee-pee!

I stayed in the bivouac for the competition. Lots of other teams'

bivouacs leaked, even the one with the tarp over it!

Then it was our turn. We got photos of our team, then it was time for the test! I got in with Rachel, then Mr.Norton poured water over our bivouac and we only got a few drops on us and nothing leaked!

We all headed back from the bivouac area with a yummy morning tea waiting for us.
