Hot Pools
It was Tuesday,6:45pm in the evening wheneverybody gathered at the courtyard.
Mrs Harford talked to us about which car
we're going in.
After the talk we went in the cars(I got to go
in Mrs Harfords car!).
We got to the hot pools and I was still in line to get my Hydro slide pass.
When we got our pass the life guard talked to us about safety and which pools we were allowed in,at the same time some people got changed.
Some ran to the normal pools and some ran to the hydro slides.
After an hour it started to get cold so some people got out and got changed.
Few minutes passed,we gathered at the
fresh water pools Mrs Harford talked to us,
then we left the pools and went back to
camp.
I enjoyed it!
How TalL Are Those Trees?
At 12:00pm on day two of camp at Hanmer, group D and B did tree climbing.First we learnt how to put our harness and helmet on. After we had
been checked, we were split into two groups and my group did the
crate challenge. There was a builder and a climber. The climber stands
on the crates the builder builds and the builder stacks crates up in two
piles. When everyone had had a go at builder and climber we moved on to climbing trees.
On the first tree I got to the top first but Sam was much faster to get to the top. On the second tree I got to the part where there are no more blocks to put my hands and feet on.
Overall I thought it was my favorite rotation.
Mountain Biking
On the 3rd of March my group did mountain biking. My group was group D and a person named Ashely led us. I got a very small red and black bike. It was a long biking track in the forest. At a place that was called 'Big Dipper' Logan did a big jump. A place that I called 'Ramp' Logan and Sam did a high jump on the bike. When we were back at camp we had a rest for the next rotation.
I really loved the mountain biking because I learnt how to use fantastic gears on the bike.

Newsletter Term One Week 6

Dear Parents/Care givers
Hi there everyone.
We had an amazing camp last week and hopefully you will read all about it on this blog this week.
Week Five
The week was mainly our Camp at Hanmer (see pic. of the boys building a bivvy) which was awesome. Thanks to the parents who came and to the parents who transported us. We also met with our buddy class to look at Assembly for next week. We did a PAT listening test and also our first spelling levels test. We also played Sport on Friday and shared some freeze frame shots of our camp at Senior Assembly.
Week Six
This week we are writing some recounts on camp, working on Camp Maths and getting ready to share at Assembly on Friday. We will have another class meeting and change jobs and seats. We hope to have our last sessions in the pool.

Physical activity is vital for learning and health. We will do some daily and therefore children need appropriate footwear. If possible could children please bring along an old pair of sports shoes to have in the room by the back door.
I also encourage all children to have a water bottle(for water only) in the classroom. They are also able to eat fresh or dried fruit at anytime throughout the day.
