The Building of the Bivouac

On the last day of camp, Wednesday, we set out to the forest.
We did a blind trail, but after we made shelters called 'Bivouacs'.
Mr. Norton gave us 30 minutes to build it.
I paired up with Jessica.

We chose a nice tree to build it on and we set to work.
Jessica found nice, big flax stalks to build it with.

She handed them to me and I put them in place. We made sure to make a hole to get in and stuck
some branches, like a roof.
Just in case,we threw in some flax stalks inside. We waited until Mr. Norton shouted "Okay, times up! Can everybody get in there bivouacs?!"
We squeezed through the hole and covered it with the branches.  We accidently left a hole in the roof and got really wet. We pulled the branches away for the photo.
